Chuck I am thrilled to see that you are doing this. This is a great personal and phillanthropic endeavor for you. You are a definite inspiration. Please let me know if you need anything (HR advice, snake bite remedy, Armadillo spray, etc.) I wish you all the best.
Best of luck Chuck! I know you can do it. I’ll be rooting for you. Take it easy in those mountains! Glad to hear that you are doing this and for a wonderful cause. Cool bike to ride too. Wow- shaved legs! You have inspired me to stay with this cycling thing- after all those years commuting to AGE. This year I’m doing the Iowa RAGBRAI ride – but nothing like what you are doing.
Many thanks Larry – we need to go for a ride when I get back. I promise not to forget my shoes, get a speeding ticket or ride away if it thunderstorms!
Hey there Chuck. Been a long time but my memory of you is of a very determined and disciplined guy. (Mostly I remember your weigh lifting and running days.) With those qualities you can’t possibly fail at this. Hope you get to see some awesome stuff along the way and meet some great people. I’ll be watching. Take care.
Hey Brother, I can not begin to tell you how extremely proud I am of you. You are certainly an inspiration. I believe that you will accomplish what you have set out to do. You always were one of those “over achievers”. No really, I’m what, like half your age, and I can’t keep up with you.(lol) Remember when we were kids, and you would race everyone, only you would run backwards… and yet you still won every race!! I will be home cheering you on and watching your journey through your blog. Best of luck to you, although I know how you have prepared so you are ready to undertake this adventure. Stay safe, I love you and see you soon 🙂
