Stretching and eclipse watching

Sorry that I didn’t post this yesterday, but there was a lot to do on our first “rest day”.

The Drury Inn in Flagstaff was primo. Very impressive. There were a lot of dogs there as it is “per friendly”. A lot of us spent some time “animal watching”. Pat has stupid Larry and I with a :puzzle question” that Larr and I can’t figure out. Something to do with a dude stranded on an island and he eats the other survivors, is rescued and many years later gets sick to his stomach when he eats “dolphin”. She says we are close to answer but no cigar.

Sunday we all spent some time cleaning and degreasing our bikes for the next week. Now they are all spic and span. Most of the folks spent about an hour on their bikes. Nick went to the Grand Canyon and a lot of the riders went for massages (not me).

The highlight of the day was the eclipse of the sun, It was about 98% and I got a few photos of the event and the folks watching it. Will post a few shortly!

Tomorrow (which is today, we ride to Holbrook Az.
